Sign Sewage

I’ve had it. Last week was election day. Once a year, candidates run for some type of office, and it is our responsibility to vote them in or out. I get democracy. However, politicians are a joke. As I drive through my neighborhood, all I see are ground signs littering our beautiful streets. Some corners have 20 signs. This is what I call eye pollution. The hypocrisy of these candidates that fill our vision with these ugly signs is amazing. Has anyone taken the time to see what these signs are made of.Wire and coated plastic. Two materials that take hundreds of years to break down, yet all of our lying politicians profess that we are in a severe time where the world is coming to an end due to global warming. Can someone tell me if the world is ending, then why are politicians using materials that are a main cause of the destruction of our environment? Can someone also tell me why politicians are able to pollute land that is not theirs. Can we throw our garbage on our neighbors lawn? Don’t think so. So why, after a week since election day, do I still see these signs all over the neighborhoods of Long Island. We need to stop this pollution, but unfortunately, our elected officials are the one’s that need to pass a law stopping it. Don’t think that’s going to happen.
